Bob Pittmanhas been elevated to CEO of CC Media
Holdings. Mr. Pittman joined Clear Channel in November 2010
as an investor and as the company’s chairman of media and
entertainment platforms. In his new role, he will oversee Clear
Channel Radio, Clear Channel Digital and media services for
all the company’s industries. Mr. Pittman, who began his
career at 15 as a radio announcer in Mississippi, is a founding
member of private-investment firm Pilot Group and was co-founder of the MTV network. He has previously been CEO of
MTV Networks, AOL Networks, Six Flags Theme Parks,
Quantum Media, Century 21 Real Estate and Time Warner
Enterprises.
MCDONALD
Media-technology company PubMatic has appointed Kirk
McDonald to the newly created position of president. Mr.
McDonald most recently served as president of digital for
Time Inc., and before that he held the position of chief
advertising officer of the Fortune|Money Group. PubMatic’s
ad-management platform is used by online publishers such
as The Huffington Post, eBay, United Online and TV Guide.
REBELO
Michael Rebelo, currently managing director at Saatchi &
Saatchi, London, is returning to his native Australia as CEO in
November. Mr. Rebelo has worked within the Saatchi & Saatchi
network for 15 years and served as general manager of the
agency’s Wellington and Sydney office before being promoted
to CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi, Singapore. In 2008 he was
promoted managing director in London, where he helped lead
the agency’s Cannes award-winning T-Mobile campaign.
MCGLOTHIN
Shannon McGlothin has joined Deutsch L.A. as exec VP-group creative director, partnering with Exec VP-Group
Creative Director Jason Elm on the PlayStation and Diamond
Foods accounts. Mr. McGlothin was most recently at Crispin
Porter & Bogusky in Boulder, where he led creative on the
Coke Zero account. Prior to that, he spent more than six years
at Wieden & Kennedy creating award-winning work for clients
including Nike, Coca-Cola, LVMH and Electronic Arts. Most
notably, he was an integral part of the creative team behind
the Livestrong campaign for Nike.
FONZETTI
Marc Fonzetti, who was most recently media director, North
America, at Reckitt Benckiser, is moving to Verizon Wireless
as director-media services/marketing communications. Mr.
Fonzetti spent five years at RB, where he led a considerable
shift in the company’s TV ad budget into online video. Mr.
Fonzetti is the co-founder of Ennovate Media and was senior
media planner for MediaVest from 1998 to 2000.
HOUNSELL
Patrick Hounsellhas been named chief digital officer of
Merkle, a newly established role at the customer-relationship-marketing firm. Mr. Hounsell joins Merkle with more than 15
years of digital media and marketing experience. During his 10-
year span at Razorfish, he was instrumental in the development
of the company’s search-marketing discipline, as well as its
social-media practice. Most recently, he held the position of
senior VP-general manager, Razorfish National Media.
MURILLO
Jennifer Murillo, formerly director-brand communications
for Discover, has been promoted to VP-brand
communications. Having held the position of director of
advertising since 2009, she helped build key partnerships
with the Discover Orange Bowl, the NHL and Six Flags. She
has been at Discover since 1999 and has worked across
advertising, sponsorships, media planning and consumer
research throughout her career.

Entertainment Promotions has named Garrett Mullins exec
VP-partner and customer services. Mr. Mullins will play an
integral role in new-media programs at the company, which
helps businesses connect with consumers through discounts

platforms. Prior to joining Entertainment, Mr. Mullins was VP-sales and business development for Kantar Media Compete.
