CBS COLLEGE NETWORK
SPORTS
CBS College Sports Network, available in HD, is the
original 24-hour cable network dedicated to capturing the passion of college sports, covering 25 men’s and women’s sports
and providing compelling coverage of more than 300 live
events each season. Its live programming schedule is highlighted by teams from the Atlantic 10 Conference, Conference
USA, Mountain West Conference, and Army and Navy. Over
the past three years, these schools have sent more than 25
teams to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and more
than 35 teams to bowl games, including two to the Bowl
Championship Series.
CBS College Sports Network is the official home of Armed
Forces football, with more Army, Navy and Air Force games
than any other network. Its football schedule features 2009
bowl teams BYU, Houston, TCU and Utah. The basketball
lineup showcases BYU, Dayton, Memphis, New Mexico, Temple, UNLV, the UConn women’s team and many more high-profile schools. CBS College Sports Network also offers more
than 40 championships year-round featuring baseball, hockey,
lacrosse, softball and more.
In addition to live games and original programming, CBS
College Sports Network showcases a variety of studio pro-
gramming with expert analysis and highlights throughout the
week. Featured shows include “Courtside With Seth Davis,”
“Inside College Basketball,” “Inside College Football,” “The
SEC Tailgate Show” and “The Tony Barnhart Show.”
In the spring, CBS College Sports Network produces and
telecasts “The Alt Games: College Action Sports Champi-
onships,” a first of its kind event. Some of the best collegiate
beach volleyball, freeskiing, kayaking, snowboarding, ulti-
mate Frisbee and wakeboarding teams in the U.S. compete
in five cities.
